”While secure by design is the foundation of cybersecurity, time to market always takes precedence,” he says, quoting a world economic forum report on cyber risk.

In a video interview with Information Security Media Group at RSA 2020, Salvi also discusses:

  • Learnings from both sides of the table - as a CISO and as a vendor delivering managed services;
  • Changing landscape and 2020 skillsets;
  • Moving from reactive to proactive security.

Prior to joining Infosys, Salvi was a partner for cybersecurity at PwC. He has 21 years of industry experience in IT service delivery and cybersecurity, having served in roles at Crompton Greaves, Development Credit Bank, Global Trust Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and HDFC Bank. He has extensive management and domain experience in driving information security programs.
