Minimum qualifications: 10 years of experience working in leadership roles leading global vendor operations in technology companies or in management consulting. 10 years of experience in people management. Experience in operations, vendor management, outsourcing, location strategy and program management.
Preferred qualifications: Experience working in a Trust and Safety, Fraud, Risk Assessment capacity within a tech company. Experience working in brand protection. Experience in contract management. Developed executive presence, with the ability to influence cross-functionally in matrix organization. Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure and coach teams to effectively navigate and communicate in a fast paced and ambiguous environment. Effective communication and negotiation skills. About the job Fast-paced, dynamic, and proactive, YouTube’s Trust & Safety team is dedicated to making YouTube a safe place for users, viewers, and content creators around the world to belong, create, and express themselves. Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world. As Head of Scaled Operations, you'll drive the vision and execution for scaled operations and service delivery across all YouTube global vendor sites. The Operations team reviews content and enforces compliance with community guidelines to ensure trust and safety of YouTube platform. The team also provides support for YouTube products, enabling users and creators across channels. Responsibilities Set vision on how to scale and transform large-scale Trust and Safety and service operations including vendor and location strategy, site expansion while mitigating risk. Define and execute strategies to drive performance, including quality, customer satisfaction and cost in partnership with operations stakeholders. Drive alignment on staffing and other teams. Drive continuous improvement through effective feedback processes to address policy, product, tooling challenges based on prioritized feedback from frontline staff. Partner with wellness experts to ensure effective support for our global workforce and refine and continue to define effective audit mechanisms for compliance. Lead and develop leaders to foster a culture of integrity, service excellence, accountability, innovation, best practice sharing across sites and functions and build external partner/vendor relationships that mirror this culture.
